A highly accomplished television host, producer, author, and entrepreneur, Yue-Sai Kan is one of the most recognized and beloved women in China.

During her spectacular 40-year broadcast career, she has helped bridge the cultural gap between East and West, and is immortalized with a postage stamp commissioned in her honor. She is credited with changing the face of female beauty in China with her line of innovative cosmetics designed for Asian women.

Yue-Sai is also active in many charitable causes. In her role as chairperson for the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation's China Beauty Charity Fund, she is an advocate for organizations such as Operation Smile China, which provides free reconstructive surgery and medical evaluations for thousands of underprivileged children born with cleft lips and cleft palates. As the National Director for Miss Universe China, she uses her grace, poise and eloquence to mentor and inspire her country’s contestants who help promote the mission of the CBCF and Operation Smile throughout China.

As executive producer of the kung fu film, Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen, he helped train the film’s young stars.
